"Astéroïde" is a remix of the eponymous track composed by Joël Fajerman released in 1978. Embracing the trends of 70s Spacey Cosmic and Sci-Fi Disco, Joël is a French composer and keyboardist known for his illustrative and futuristic electronic music that accompanied numerous TV productions of the 70s and 80s. His expertise and passion for synthesizers led him to contribute as a programmer in Parisian recording studios on many albums. Matoux and Teuteu offer a new version more than 40 years after its release, with an approach centered around Deep House and Jazz. Drawing inspiration from the sounds of French productions, the two producers breathe new life into this track by adding their own touches through their samplers, synthetic textures, and jazz chords.
